The remaining number of stitches left to knit in the first border is less than I’ve completed. Not that you can tell.
Even though I am
late on a deadline, sometimes a little instant gratification is in order. I had to stop and block out the lace so I could admire what I was accomplishing.
I love how every few rows I knit these little circles or “cat’s paws” pattern. And every dozen or so rows, the overall pattern of circles vary slightly. Completely love it!

It may be a bit late but it is beautiful and the colour is very rich. It looks like a variegated chocolate? I have made some socks with that cat’s paw pattern on them. It is very nice!! Happy knitting, not far to go now!!

I love the subtle changes in the pattern, keeps it interesting. I would have had to block it a bit too - it’s really pretty!!
