Deadlines and I go together like oil and water.  For as long as I can remember, I have been a procrastinator, a time underestimator, and as forgetful as a mouse.  Need proof?  How about this?  or this?

I started Dyann’s mystery shawl in the spring.  We agreed to have it in the mail by the end of August.  Then we mutally allowed an extra month’s grace period.  Dyann would have made it easily except for an unexpected yarn shortage.  Me?  Not so much.  It is now halfway through October and I am only 65% finished.  Of course, I could be wrong.  I could have less done than I think.  If so, don’t tell me. 

Fortunately, Dyann is being very patient with me.  I don’t deserve it, but I’m grateful. 

Rules and I also seem to get along as well as deadlines.  Of course, if I was making quicker progress, weekly clue posting might be reasonable.  As it is - here is clue #3.  Shoot me an email about what pattern you think I’m knitting.  There is great swag to be won.

Last night, I finished the middle section which is 322 rows long.
