Summer Evening
Sep 2nd, 2007 by jae
This project knitted up really quick. Or rather, it required little of my time. Infact, until I hit the shoulders, it was fairly mindless knitting. I started this sweater in March but several other things prevented any focused attention to knit on it. This became my on the go knitting. A few minutes a week was all it really saw until recently.
I based the size on my favorite fitted T. My math skills must still be in good shape because it is a perfect fit. For a bonus to the finish, my hubby took me out to dinner so I had an excuse to wear it right away.

Needles: US 7 & US 10.5
Yarn: Lousia Harding Kashmire Aran (color 07) – 4 balls and Sari Ribbon (color 08) – 2 skeins
Pattern: My own
Time: March 2007 to Aug 2007
Another great design by Jae. Love it!
Jae, it is adorable. The ribbon yarn on top looks similar to something else I’ve seen recently. I liked it then and even more now!
Love it! Looks really nice.
It’s really cute! Don’t you love the way your hair tickles the back of your neck?
I like the way the top part has all the action, and draws the eye to your face. The v-neck, variegated ribbon yarn and shoulder details work great together. I think it’s very fashionable too. I’ve seen a lot of tops lately with a band over the breasts instead of under them.
KUDOS!
Jae- Very flattering- it looks great on you.
Congratulations.
This sweater turned out beautifully.
Congrats! It looks great. I like the contrasting yarns and the line of the top.
Well done! That turned out really lovely; I like the detail at the shoulder.
Great job! What a very cute top. You look great, too!!
Jae, that turned out great!! Here’s hoping Mother Nature will cooperate and let you wear it a few more times this year!
Nice job, hope to see it in person sometime soon!
