Gain an Hour, Lose an Hour

I was all set to do this fabulous, photo-loaded, tutorial on how to reverse knit in response to so many of you enquiring how to accomplish this wonderful avoidance of purling. I was going to build whatever contraption I needed to position the camera sans hubby (and sans cats with opposable thumbs). I was about to prepare the right wording to clearly indicate where to put the needles and the yarn at any point in the creation of the reverse knit stitch. I was ready to slave hours over editing each crucial step. Then I searched the internet and found this.
What will I do with all the free time I just gained? If rumors are true, as soon as I answer my Ravelry invite I received today, I’ll be wishing for even more.
Am I odd because I don’t mind purling? Is it because I knit Continental? Enjoy Ravelry.
Ooh, I’m pretty sure my Ravelry invite should be here any day, too.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Man, that knitting backwards thing is so good – am so glad you didn’t have to spend hours on this. Oh, and I’m with Donni – Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah! When will my Ravelry invite turn up!
I don’t know how I was invited so quickly to The Ravelry. I have been there for ages: I must have signed up v v early by accident, because truly, I am never on the cutting edge of anything!!!! I am not too hateful of the purling, but I like knits best!!!!
I neeeed my ravelry invite! *pouts*
i am madly stalking my e-mail for my ravelry invite too. sigh.
Aw, you still could have done the tutorial. But thanks for the link!
Thanks for the link! I was just thinking of looking that up for these boring scarves I am doing for charity. :)
Hopefully, maybe I’ll see you at the fiber thing next weekend!!
