Since last we met…
I have been knitting.
In a house. In a car. In a chair.
I have been knitting everywhere.
Knitting to and fro.
Knitting garterstitch as I go.
Red, orange, and yellow – they were nice.
But, Look new hues!
Olive, green, and teal blues.
Knitting round and round.
Not a purl sitch to be found.

Dear Jade,
Strutting ceased about 6 days ago. My feet began to hurt and strutting isn’t the same with a limp. The preening stopped around 2 days ago. If I had continued, I would soon be bald.

I am dizzy from the breathlessness of it all. Some time ago the Harlot wrote about the work that goes into designing your own lace shawl. So many of you have complimented me to the rafters on a at-the-time-not-yet-completed-could-still-turn-ugly-at-any-moment shawl. I felt torn between a rooster’s strut and a mumbled “it was nothing”.
