… slowly.
The sleeves have been reknit without mishap (whew!) and are blocking before I seam them up. This means that I can return to the bird. Last time I posted a pic was here. It has grown a bit since then. However, with 480+ stitches in each row, progress is slowing. Each row takes about twenty minutes to complete. But I am still enthralled and enthusiastic about finishing this!

That looks lovely, Jae, though those “big holes” are a bit scary looking.
Oh, I’ve just downloaded your Bernadette pattern in preparation for my year of lace in 2008! Shhh, don’t tell Marji ;-)

Looking great! 480 stitches a row! That would take me longer than 2o minutes I think.

and I’ve been complaining about the width of a baby blanket… haha. The peacock is going to look amazing blocked out! Soon I will start my first lace shawl. Shetland Triangle in malabrigo laceweight. Weeee!

Oh, Jae, it looks fabulous!!!
But, Please! Stop with the lace enticements already!!
Not fair to show us such beauty when there are so many other pieces demanding completion!

Even with the amount you have done is looks like a peacock. It looks so nice.
