It isn’t raining exactly. There is a lot of fog. As the moisture condenses, it slowly gains enough weight to fall. The sound cannot be heard inside my home. Outside on the deck it is loud, everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Drip . . . drip . . . drip . . .

Until the sun has enough strength to burn off the mist and dampness, I’m going to focus on the felt hat I’m knitting. The bright red is a cheery contrast to the grey day.

Beautiful photos! The red hat looks like a wonderful antidote to the wet.

What a beautiful way to end that series of photos. I’m in red mode at the moment also.

Looks downright cold! Much different than California, but great knitting weather.

Your red hat is like a celebration of spring, all by itself :)
We are having beautiful autumn weather here, not cold days yet but the shadows are stretching further across the backyard in the afternoon and there is a certain quality to the air in the mornings, and messages in the way the wind changes direction…

I love the fog. Your rainy pictures look so nice. It’s white and snowy here, though. :(

Looks like you have the same kind of weather we do in Cambridge, Ontario. I love red, and your hat turned out intensely cute! (No, you aren’t the only person to wonder why sheep don’t shrink in the rain)
I’m in a red mode too. Red mitts with a black tweed cuff, although I wish I had done it on larger needles.
Again, great hat!
