Saturday Snow
Mar 3rd, 2007 by jae
It is snowing at this moment. A light, big flake kind of snow. The sort of snow that encourages large mugs of hot tea or chocolate, good books, and thick wool.
The day has been quiet and peaceful. It is as if the snow is providing a blanket of insulation from the rest of the of the world.Â
I’m going to take advantage of it and settle in for awhile. I hope your corner of the world is enjoying some time off from the hectic pace, too. :)
Snow? Snow you say? We are SWEATING it out over here – 2 of the hottest days on record.
We had *gasp* sunshine up here today! Of course, the ground is covered by feet of snow, but we’ll ignore it.
What’s in the picture? It looks fantastic!
 - It’s a multi directional scarf (I think the pattern is from Magknits) in Malabrigo. Peggy knit it for me during the International Scarf Exchange #2. It is my absolute favorite scarf!

It’s good to hear that there’s places in this world that still get snow! We’ve gotten a lousy two inches over here all winter long – and mind you, we’re in the Austrian Alps! Very strange…
Your plans for that snow day sound absolutely perfect to me though – enjoy, and happy knitting!
