Last year I knit socks for my mother’s birthday. She has often teased me about giving her “used” socks, since I tried them on before she received them. In my defense, they were my first pair of socks I made. I wanted to make sure they fit because I was sort of winging it.  Used socks versus unwearable socks. I took my chances.
This year, I’m knitting her a cardigan.  It’s almost done. The sleeves are blocking. I need to add the collar and weave in the ends. Â

This year I won’t be gifting her a “used” sweater. ;)

The sweater is beautiful. I live the trim, it really makes the sweater “POP”.

I guess I should read my comment before I click the post button. “LIVE” should be “LOVE”! DUH!
