New Arrival
Dec 12th, 2006 by jae
You would think from the way I would jump every time my phone rang last week that I was expecting a call from the Pope himself. But, no – I was waiting for something far more important. (Not that a phone call from the Pope wouldn’t be something to brag about.) By Thursday, my phone had not rung. Well, not from the person I cared to hear from (nor the Pope). So, I proceeded to call them (the person I wanted to speak to, not the Pope). First it was once a day, then twice, then every four hours, then I began pacing and then I attempted to will the phone into submission.
Finally, Monday afternoon the call came. Lainey Rose. 9 lbs 11 oz. 22 inches. Ten fingers, ten toes, and full head of dark wavy hair.
