I finished the other Karen’s scarf. (Both my MIL and SIL are named Karen. My SIL is the other Karen).

I love the way Trendsetter Viola Print and Crystal Palace Chenille combine to make a new color. I also noticed for the first time that the Viola seems to have created vertical stripes. Maybe because the knitting was on the bias and the stripes are running on an opposite “lean”, I didn’t notice the stripes while I was knitting.

Now I only have 3 more projects to complete before Christmas. I don’t always make knitted gifts for Christmas. This year, that is all I wanted to do. Thankfully, I started in August!!
