It’s been a busy few days this week. Hubby and I drove down to my parents in Indiana late Monday. Tuesday was full with holiday grocery shopping, plus I had agreed to make lamb meatballs with a fragrent rosemary tomato sauce for dinner that night. I was forced to use veal instead, but it was still very yummy!! Wednesday was met with a snow storm. Now, Thursday, things are quiet as the after holiday dinner nap has taken hold of most of the houseguests.

Inspite of the holiday flurry and activity, I have managed to 1) cast on Karen’s scarf, 2) build a snowman, and 3) buy more sock yarn. Celestial Merino in Sugar Maple colorway. Pictures will be posted upon return to my home.

Since today is a day of thanks, I would like to offer that I am very thankful for my husband. He didn’t make any fuss that I bought more yarn for socks that I have yet to knit.
